Nevena Šipčić is an Earthquake Engineer who joined RED in 2024. She earned a European scholarship for the Master of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (MEEES) program, which she completed at the University of Grenoble (France) and the ROSE School in Pavia (Italy). Nevena holds a Ph.D. in Understanding and Managing Extremes (UME) from the University School for Advanced Studies of Pavia (IUSS), which she obtained in 2024 with a dissertation titled "Seismic Risk Assessment for RC Buildings Including Earthquake Sequences."

She is particulatly experienced in seismic hazard analysis, nonlinear response analysis of structures and ground-motion record selection. At RED, Nevena works as an earthquake risk modeler and analyst, focusing on the development of risk models with a particular emphasis on clustered seismicity.
