History

RED Srl begins its activity in 2008, with the registered name of EQCO Srl - Earthquake Consulting -.

ECQO’s activities involved mainly analysis and modeling of structures to be designed to achieve an optimal seismic performance. Within this collaboration EQCO delivers international technical consultancy, as well as research and feasibility studies, in the fields of earthquake engineering and engineering seismology. It addresses several aspects related to the seismic problem, from risk analyses and preliminary assessment to advanced modeling and structural design and retrofit.

From September 2012, EQCO has been reincorporated into RED (Risk Engineering and Design), increasing its range of services provided to include perils other than earthquakes. RED is a relatively new company with a high degree of specialization in the field of structural design, structural analysis and risk assessment; its experience is enhanced by the expertise brought in by technical directors and project coordinators that have significant international experience in several fields of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology.
